6. Inglourious Basterds
Tarantino’s bonkers war action movie, with a bonkers soundtrack to match. I loved the use of this track in one of the final action scenes - Ennio Morricone – Un Amico. Lovely.
5. Sherlock Holmes
Guy “professional Cockney” Ritchie’s return to form. Too long, a little meandering towards the end, but looked great, some fun dialogue and some very fine...

Breaking Bad
Series 2 of the superb TV show, Breaking Bad (can I say it’s better than The Sopranos? yes), is currently being shown here in the UK on Five USA. Mad scheduling though - a brand new episode at midnight (the kind of graveyard shift that repeats get relegated to), on consecutive nights.
It’s Seinfeld all over again.
Missed all but one episode. Good call, Five USA.
